AFC Bournemouth will hold an open training session at Vitality Stadium on Tuesday, 16th April, giving thousands of supporters the chance to watch first team being put through their paces.
The event, which takes place during the Easter holidays, will run from 9:30am until approximately 1pm, is open for fans of all ages and will be compered by BBC Radio Solent commentator Kris Temple.
As the Cherries head towards a fifth successive season in the Premier League, those present will be able to see manager Eddie Howe and his coaching staff working with the squad as they step up their preparations for an important home fixture against Fulham.
But that’s not all. Before the first team take to the pitch, local youngsters will also get the opportunity to showcase their talents to the crowd, when AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust run a series small-sided games for some of its teams and coaching courses, including Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, girls under-10s and girls under-12s.
Turnstiles will open at 9am, with the stadium accessed initially via the Vitality Main Stand. The Community Sports Trust matches will take place from 9:30am, followed by the AFC Bournemouth first team being welcomed onto the pitch for a full training session around 10:45am.
Once their training has finished, the squad will then head straight to the gym for a further session, so unfortunately there will not be an opportunity for autographs.
As well as the action on the pitch, there will also be plenty going on off it, including a freestyler and the opportunity to test the strength of your shot on a Power Strike game. There will also be a special in-store Superstore offer of a £5 discount from your next purchase of £20 or more.
In order to determine supporter demand and staffing levels, the opening training session will be ticketed.
Tickets for this event is currently on sale at a cost of just £3, but the value of which then can be redeemed at any of the concourse kiosks within the stadium during the morning.
This is an unreserved seating event therefore any supporters attending AFCB Open-To-Public Training Session are kindly asked to find an available seat upon arrival.
